Are you ready for the Junior Scientist & Industry annual meeting?
To make the most out of the JSIam, here are a few tips:
- It’s time to make sure your CV is up-to-date and and formatted for the non-academic sectors you are interested in! Bring a few copies along with business cards on the event day.
- You may have a great ResearchGate profile, but it’s not the most relevant online network if you’re considering a career in industry, consulting, or going the entrepreneurship route. If you do not have a LinkedIn profile, create yours, with a custom URL, and start connecting with your colleagues and peers. You can find tips here and here for instance. And follow GIANT!
- Stand out from the crowd even before the event begins, and present your skills, interests and career objectives in the #Doc4Office contest! Submit your entry by 8 March, and as early as the registrations open!
